i have a typewriter now, and it is amazing. the last two submissions were written on it

yeah so i got this guy to take pictures of paintings for me and here they are. i'm new at this so any tips and critiques would be really helpful.

what's that? two new things in a week? that's right. and there might be more if i can fix the lyrics to this one song i'm working on so they actually have a continuous theme (that's the problem with writing four lines and coming back to them in a different mindset).

things are happening.

I have several paintings completed, which will hopefully be several more by the time I have to trek back to that place called school. My next one is to be the last in a series of three paintings based on the lines "Hang the brain-Crucify the Heart-Return to Simplicity". Once I can borrow a good digital camera I will attempt to post them up here.

"The Walk" is finished, if you haven't noticed. At this point I dislike the premise of it, but the ideas are still intriguing to me. I started another short teenage self-indulgant piece or writing I may or may not do anything with. Other than that I haven't been writing a lot.

Auigust 12th I think I'm going to see "Tommy" performed at a theater in Reading. Since I love the Who and have heard many a good thing about it, I'm very excited. And August 15-18 I will finally be secluding myself in my room, void of all contact with the outside world. Don't even act like you're not jealous.

okay, so pretty much none of that stuff has gotten accomplished yet. the 3-4 days thing i'm putting off until late july or august.

the novel isn't going to get done or even near done, if i start it at all. I am putting it to the side because I realize at this point that i am not experienced enough as a writer to take on something as monumental as a novel. I still like the idea, but am putting it on the back burner for a time when i hold my writing skills in higher esteem.

so for now i'm working on short stories and peoms and whatnot (although not very hard since "the walk" is the only thing i've done in about a month and that's not done yet).

as for music...the band i'm currently in is starting from scratch, more or less, so that's taken my current interest, since it seems to have a positive direction for me in the terms of having more creative outlets. but i will eventually record some of my own stuff when i have the time.

other news...I've recently been trying my hand at painting. I rather enjoy it, although I'm not very good at it. So if i can somehow i'll past some stuff up here when it's done.

I still don't exist, but you have to start somwhere.
